NBA Midpoint

We are now closing in on the halfway point of the NBA season and some things are moving along as expected; Cleveland and the Lakers are sitting atop their respective Conferences, my Phoenix Suns are muddled down in the center of the playoff race list (after having lost 4 straight including a blowout loss to the Bobcats!) and many of the troubled teams are sitting on the outside watching the big boys add up the wins.

Now there are a couple of surprises too including Atlanta tied for the 4th best record in the NBA, Charlotte actually in the playoff race and New Jersey hoping to top that dreaded 9-73 record set by the ‘72-73 Philadelphia 76ers.

Can Carmelo drag the Nuggets up and over the hill to the realm of Playoff wins? Can LeBron finally put a Championship ring on his finger? Can Atlanta and Charlotte keep up the pace with the big boys?
